A fully equipped kitchen dining room is found on the ground floor with an oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. This adjoins the living room with its comfy sofa and chairs arranged around a 42-inch smart TV and electric fireplace to keep guests cosy throughout the colder months. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed when wanted.
The street entrance from Upper Hedgemead Road is on the first floor, where the master bedroom houses a super-king zip and link bed which can split into two generous single beds depending on guests’ wishes. Next door is the newly revamped bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. A second toilet is also on this floor.
Upstairs on the second floor is a spacious second bedroom, built in the converted attic, with a super-king zip and link bed, offering twin beds where wanted, and a second TV. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.
The beautiful garden is built on three levels each of which have well-sheltered terraced seating areas, so guests can follow the sun throughout the day. The garden path and terraces can be lit at night. At the bottom of the garden is a garage which opens onto Lower Hedgemead Road below the house.
Situated directly above the park, the house and garden feel very green and peaceful, despite being within five minutes’ walk of some of Bath’s busiest shopping streets through the park.
