New Bath holiday homes: Self catering properties we welcomed in the last year

Happy New Year folks!

As we usher in 2020, we’ve been reflecting on the past year’s achievements here at Panda Sanctuaries.

It has been an exciting 12 months which has seen us unveil some beautiful new self-catering properties in Bath.
These new Bath holiday homes are the result of many months of refurbishment work to transform them into the luxury accommodation our guests deserve.

After being named as an AirBnB Superhost last year, we have not only retained this accolade but added to it, being selected as the ‘Best Luxury Holiday Rentals Provider’ in the Global Hospitality Awards run by LUXlife Magazine.

These accolades are recognition of the quality of all our Bath rental properties and service which guarantee our guests the best possible stay and have meant overwhelmingly positive reviews from people visiting from all over the world.

This year we have further enhanced our wonderful Bath holiday home collection opening up the following two properties:

Locksbrook Lodge

Surrounded by the lush greenery of one of Bath’s historic cemeteries, this newly refurbished lodge house sleeps up to 10 guests in comfort and style.

We have lovingly converted the beautiful Grade II listed building into a stunning four-bedroom holiday home with a generous well sheltered garden perfect for barbeques and al fresco dining.

With a large fully equipped kitchen dining room, a generous living room, four double bedrooms and two bathrooms, the property has been elegantly refurbished in a classic contemporary style in keeping with the mid-19th century building’s heritage and Gothic architectural detail.

A 25 minute walk along the River Avon into the city centre, Locksbrook Lodge is ideal for larger groups wishing to explore Bath and the surrounding area.

The Bridge House

Built into the side of the historic Cleveland Bridge, looking out over the River Avon, this Regency property offers guests a truly unique Bath holiday experience.

Originally a toll house, dating from 1827, the two-bedroom self-catering property, which sleeps up to six people, is built over three floors. It has been beautifully furnished to ensure guests’ comfort and convenience while preserving the property’s traditional charm.

The garden has steps down to a wooden pontoon on the water’s edge and a terrace perfect for enjoying idyllic riverside meals or evening drinks.

Just 15 minutes’ walk from Bath city centre with its many famous sights, this is a wonderful place to stay when visiting our historic city.

Here’s to 2020!

As we enter the New Year, we’re excited to be preparing to bring yet more wonderful Bath self catering properties into the Panda Sanctuaries collection, so watch this space!
